Inspiration Blog

Over the past couple years I have collected hundreds of photos, quotes and videos of fashion inspiration. I keep them in a neat little folder on my desktop for safe keeping and I sometimes do inspiration posts as I did yesterday. Lately I have been wanting to start a side blog for just those things and update them as I find inspiration worthy of posting. This week has been a long one and Friday could not have come at a more perfect time. With all of the tests and papers I've been finishing up, I'm going to use this weekend for some much needed R&R--a pedicure with my new Lippmann colors, testing out my new iPad and laying by the pool.

Building Blocks

As I've mentioned before, I am very much obsessed with the color blocking trend this spring. When I saw this skirt I thought it would be great to achieve the look for casual days (Not to menion it goes with pretty much anything, even brights). I paired my F21 skirt with a Jay Godfrey silk top, a F21 necklace for a pop of color, Michael Kors gold watch and F21 jacket.

Alexander Wang Handbags

I love Alexander Wang, but something I think he does especially well is accessories. His fall handbag line is more than deserving of its own post, but I thought I'd include his Spring line too, as I am strongly considering adding one of his over-the-shoulder bags to my collection.

Seeing Stars

My friends and I headed to Hollywood last weekend in celebration of my 21st birthday and it was just what I hoped it would be.  Birthday outfits have always been a source of much stress and over analysis, so this year I decided to keep it really simple--a little black dress.  I wore my Parker dress with a F21 clutch, Urban Outfitters pumps and J. Crew earrings for a sushi dinner and a night out with friends.
